Rebecca is a Bastyr University graduate with a degree in botanical medicine. She has studied herbs for over 5 years and has been devoting her life towards health and wellness for the past 11 years. Her specialties are in kitchen herbalism, wild foods, Appalachian medicine, mycology and wildcrafting.

Join us in learning about how and why we should incorporate medicinal and edible seaweeds into our diets! We will be exploring how seaweeds can be used to: boost nutrition, heal the skin, and add flavor to just about any meal. Proper identification of common seaweeds found in our bioregion will also be discussed using photos and live specimens. Everyone will have the opportunity to create and take home their own seaweed preparation! Price – $15 – $30 sliding scale.
